We are open to guest posting and would love to feature your writing on Writing Life!
Please read the following guidelines (and actually follow them because I’ll know if you don’t).
Writing-Related Topics Only, Please
Writing Life is about writing. Grammar tips, fiction advice, character development, academic writing, nonfiction structure, etc., are all examples of great topics.
Discussing creativity, grief, psychology, or travel is also acceptable, but only as it relates to writing. See these articles for examples:
- Creativity: Develop Your Creativity: Top 4 Techniques for Writers
- Grief: What to Write When You Have No Words
- Travel: Travel Writing: I Can Show You the World

Follow the steps below to submit your work:
- Sign up to join my subscribers group.
- Send me an email with your completed article pasted into the body of the email. No attachments, and no pitches, please.
- Include the words “guest post” in the subject line. FREE TIP: Address me by name; it’s on my website, and you’d be surprised at the number of people who don’t even read far enough to see it before they submit.

*Note that I reserve the right to edit submissions before publication. If extensive edits are needed, you will be requested to make changes.*
