By choosing Proofreading and replying to the email that includes these same guidelines with the intent to employ my services, you are agreeing to the following rules:
Submission
*Please send work as a Word doc or Google doc. If you must send a PDF, changes will be marked as flagged comments in the document and you will be required to apply those changes yourself.
Cost
*An initial electronic down payment is required in order for work to commence. This payment will be $25.00 or half (1/2) of the total cost of your project. This payment will be deducted from your final bill.
*Proofreading services are charged at a $5.00 per page rate (plus a small processing fee if PayPal is used), to be paid in full within 7 days of receiving your completed project. Failure to comply will result in late fees, to be determined on a per-project basis.
*Acceptable payment methods: direct deposit (for U.S. clients), PayPal, or check by mail.
*One (1) page is equal to 250 words, so your entire word count will be divided by 250 to determine the page count.
*Proofreading operates during business hours (9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday–Friday). Evening and rush orders are available for an additional fee.

If your work needs more attention, please consider employing my full editing services.
*Proofreading is not a formatting, final appearance, or submission service. Writing Life is not responsible for formatting, layout, or citation formatting issues, or for formatting your document according to specific university or company standards or guidelines.
